Where Creativity Meets Culture and Sustainability
In the bustling neighborhood of Ecole Papyrus Logpom, Douala, stands TLV Cuisine, a restaurant celebrated for its rich blend of traditional Cameroonian dishes and warm hospitality. In 2022, TLV Cuisine embarked on a mission to completely transform its physical space and brand identity — and to bring that vision to life, the restaurant partnered with Handyman Do It Services for the interior design and structural concept, and WebSpectron Digital Creative Agency for branding and marketing strategy.
What followed was a creative collaboration that blended African artistry, sustainability, and modern aesthetics, resulting in a restaurant environment as inviting as the meals it serves.

Project Overview
TLV Cuisine wanted a restaurant design that was unique, affordable, and culturally expressive, while also being practical for day-to-day operations. Handyman Do It Services proposed an innovative concept — an all-pallet design. Using recycled wooden pallets, we constructed everything from tables and chairs to counters and decorative structures, turning ordinary materials into a stylish and eco-friendly interior that truly stood out.
The goal was not just to design a restaurant, but to create an experience — one that reflected both Cameroonian heritage and contemporary creativity.
Design and Execution Process
The project began with a site assessment and design planning session, where our engineers and designers mapped out spatial arrangements to maximize comfort and flow. From there, our team worked to bring the pallet concept to life, transforming simple crates into sturdy, polished furniture pieces.
Our process included:
- Furniture fabrication using repurposed pallets for eco-conscious design.
- Integration of African elements, such as local artwork, woven décor, and natural textures to maintain cultural authenticity.
- Wall and lighting installations to highlight the warm tones of wood and enhance the cozy dining atmosphere.
- Outdoor layout optimization, allowing for both in-house dining and easy access for home delivery operations with Gozem Cameroon.
Despite the project’s tight budget, Handyman Do It Services demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, and attention to detail — ensuring that every aspect aligned with TLV Cuisine’s identity and operational needs.

Branding and Marketing by WebSpectron
While our team handled the physical transformation, WebSpectron Digital Creative Agency took charge of the restaurant’s visual branding and marketing strategy. This included:
- Logo and brand identity development,
- Menu design and packaging,
- High-quality promotional graphics,
- Social media campaign management, showcasing the restaurant’s transformation and daily menu highlights.
The marketing campaign was a game changer — boosting TLV Cuisine’s visibility, engaging local audiences, and positioning it as one of the go-to spots for authentic Cameroonian dishes in Douala.
Client Satisfaction and Outcome
The client described the final result as both “dope and cost-effective.” The combination of innovative design, cultural authenticity, and modern branding far exceeded expectations.
Customers loved the restaurant’s warm, handcrafted look, while the new branding created a consistent and professional image that resonated online and offline.
This project became a prime example of how design and marketing synergy can transform a small business into a recognizable and thriving local brand.
